a little while ago i expressed my longing for this hair (the earrings too). alas, it is not meant to be. my hair is frazzled and fried from lots of blonde and i don't think that long hair suits my face. so i have a new favorite.

yellow. anything yellow and grey more specifically.

the styling in the new anthropologie catalog is beautiful but really i am in love with the lanterns.

after a weekend full of spring cleaning the house, i feel like i am not quite done yet. i have been researching the master cleanse not as a way to lose weight but instead to start fresh. now that i haven't been smoking for a while i need to get rid of that last little bit of nastiness. and maybe it will set me in a new and better mind frame for spring.

cape cod vacation. i couldn't have asked for better. lots of writing and drawing and reading and napping. some new discoveries as well: oysters, calamari, the beauty of a ghost town.

leaving on vacation tomorrow morning. going to cape cod where i will be eating oysters, laughing at the boy as he runs into the ocean (don't ask me why he wants to but he is adamant about it), and working on a very important application.

so i will leave you with this.

if only topshop were not across the atlantic. i'm saving all my pennies though, and not for clothing either! so for now i will just browse.
